The window for applications to join the new IPPF Board of Trustees is fast closing. Friday this week, at noon UK time, will be the last chance to submit your applications. Please do not miss out.
How many applications have we received? So far, we have received just under 100 applications for both the external and internal seats on the board, with a further 50 candidates expressing to us their intention to apply.
Where are the applicants from? There is a balance of candidates from across regions. We have had a lot of interest from Africa, South Asia, Europe. In the Western Hemisphere we have had more interest from North America than Latin America. We have had fewer applications from ESEAOR and the Arab World.
Who are the applicants? The majority of external candidates to date are women (around 65% at the moment). There are also many exciting candidates who are under 25. But we would still like more young people to apply, and more people from marginalized communities.
