Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) make severe cuts

At the end of 2020, the U.K. government took the decision to cut their legal commitment to spending 0.7% of Gross National Income on foreign aid to 0.5% during a global pandemic. These cuts have been enormous, sudden, and justified as a technical necessity due to the impact of COVID-19 on the British economy. IPPF will continue to explore funding options and commodity procurements to ensure continuity of service delivery for Member Associations.
