The President of ASCOBEF and the Minister of Health and Gender Promotion

Meeting the South African Ambassador

As part of the development of its partnership, the President of ASCOBEF and its Executive Director Allaoui Ismaël and Ali Said Salim, respectively, were received by his Excellency Mr. Aneshwaren Maistry Ambassador of South Africa.

At the center of the discussions the fight against violence against children and women. The President and the directors took this opportunity to explain to the Ambassador his project concerning the opening of a day center to welcome young people and women suffering from the worst forms of violence.

High-level meeting at ASCOBEF

By invitation of the National President of ASCOBEF, the Executive Secretariat welcomed the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health for a bilateral partnership meeting. The discussion about future collaboration was fruitful.

Civil Engineering Pilot Project Field Visit

ASCOBEF is implementing a pilot project devoted to Civil Engineering, which builds together technical skills and engineers skills. The photos were taken during a recent field visit.

National SGBV Consultation

On 14 July 2021, at the initiative of Mr. ALLAOUI Ismael, ASCOBEF’s President, a consultation was held to discuss a new initiative against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Several points were discussed, including national reporting procedures and provision of legal support for survivors. At the end of this meeting, the participants expressed their determination to fight this scourge until the end.

The meeting enjoyed the presence of elected officials, including the Vice President Mrs. Haida and the Vice President Mr. Ahamada Baco of the National Assembly. The meeting was also attended by ASCOBEF volunteers and staff.


COVID Supplies Handover Ceremony

At an official ceremony, at the hospital of Samba, ASCOBEF handed over a range of supplies for the COVID ward. The supplies included new sheets, washing machine and sprayers, which will help improve hygiene at the ward.
