Help shape IPPF’s vision and future!

Join us to develop the IPPF Charter!

Dear Colleagues

Through a member and community-led process, the International Planned Parenthood Federation is developing a Charter of Values that will guide the work of the Federation. Building on the Sexual Rights Declaration and other Federation policy, the Charter will explicitly state a set of core values statements that Member Associations and the Secretariat both endorse and mobilise behind. It will be signed by all members and the Secretariat, whether grant receiving or not.

While the process to define and agree the Charter of Values will consider the perspectives and experience of stakeholders across the Federation and outside of it, its creation will be heavily guided and influenced by the Charter of Values Guiding Group. This group – comprised of 14 members representing all regions, perspectives and generations – will play a central role in shaping the Charter, guiding its evolution and responding to the feedback received through wider consultation and dialogue.

We are inviting applications from any board member, staff person or volunteer from member associations to be part of this Guiding Group. If you also know of external leaders who could help shape our values, please also share this call with them.

  5. This exercise is another good opportunity to make the federation much more inclusive as we want it to be, taking into account the diversity of contexts that define each of the member associations.

    @ABEF-ND will be there!

    That’s a very great opportunity …the date has been postponed, I sincerely hope that the membership committee of the federation will form a good team because it will be a question of discussing on very important subjects, having different points of view and different social classes would be an advantage in addition to the everyone’s experience..to create a peaceful environment of dialogue where everyone can be heard while respecting others. I hope my dream can come true.

  8. A great initiative that strengthens the Federation’s role as a global leader in providing SRHR
